Becoming a National SWE Member

            A National SWE Student Membership offers support systems, including peer groups, mentors, advisors and industry leaders; section programming including speaker events, seminars and leadership opportunities; access to the SWE career Center for internship and full time employment search and inclusion in our Resume Book; a subscription to SWE Magazine; and the ability to attend SWE National and Regional Conferences which offer professional development seminars, networking opportunities with practicing women engineers and other students, and career fairs. You may sign-up for national membership online or contact Jenna Covill for more information. Along with the corporate benefits, you will receive RPI benefits as well! This includes early invitation to the etiquette dinner and discounts on SWE gear!

Becoming a Active RPI SWE Member

            To become an Active Member of the Society of Women Engineers at RPI a member must complete 8 activity points throughout the school year. There are certain events that require the member to be an Active and National member to participate. Once acheiving Active Member status the person is able to attend the end of the year celebration where the year will be recapped and awards will be given out to the people who have participated and made a difference in our organization.
